Park playtime/Easter

So today as all of you may know, is Easter. It began as a slow day with waking up around 8am and giving Marissa her Easter basket. She loved her toys but then she got moody about having to pose with them. The Easter Bunny brought her an elmo toy, a caterpillar toy, and 3 adorable outfits as always...and here are some of the pictures:

Then at the end of the day Mommy and Marissa went to the park with some family...and we had fun in the swings the slide and getting dirty....YAY. Marissa got dirty for the first time without using food. Here are the pictures from the park trip: ENJOY!!! WE DID

Dear Daddy

Dear Daddy,

I told Mommy to write you and tell you how much I miss you!!!!! I miss you more then anything in the whole word....and I love you SSSSOOOOOOOOOOO much. You are the best daddy in the WORLD and I cannot wait for you to come home to me and mommy. We are so lonely without you and I am making sure that I don't grow too fast before you come home...but you know what daddy...don't tell mommy....but I will always be "daddy's little girl." SHHH...she is coming back. Well I love you so so so much and I will see you soon. Easter Egg dying

So today we decided to dye easter eggs with Marissa, Connie, and Nathniel. It was so much fun and definately a major mess.

I decided to give Marissa an egg and try to get her to drop it in the cup...but instead she went for the dye and spilt it everywhere...which made it splatter all over her outfit and face...so I decided to share the pictures and laughs with you all. Here they are:

So as all of you may know, I recently got Marissa's Easter pictures done at Olan Mills. I was so excited to see such amazing pictures with her easter basket, in the bathtub, and then in the hatbox. They came out so amazing and the photographer was amazed at how great she did...and here they are for your pleasure

Marissa's first trip to the fair

So I decided to take Marissa to the Clay County Fair and she had a blast and very interesting night. So I thought I would tell you all about it...

First, we got to the fair and went to the petting zoo...which was very...FUNNY. I tried to get Marissa to touch a big, but she was reaching for me and getting sad. She is now, growing and getting to the "I am scared" stage. Then we walked around for awhile looking at the other animals....donkeys, roosters, bunnies, and baby chicks. She actually loved the chicks and was trying to grab them.

Then, as we walked around some more I saw the Character face drawings, and I decided "why not?" Well, our drawing came out so adorable and I wanted to share it with all of you.

But then it was the end of the night after my friends and I rode some rides, and then it got cold and we came home...but overall the night was a great success.

Picture Contests

Ok, so recently I have started putting Marissa in picture contest on myspace. I am so proud of my little girl because she is amazing me with how many of them she is winning.

I thought that it would be great if I posted some of the contests she has won so far...and here they are:

New Addition

So, on April 2nd, we added a new addition to our family. Her name is Luna, she is a 20 week old lab mix. She is such an amazing puppy. She is housebroken, up to date on shots, great with marissa, and crate trained.

Last night was her first night home and she did amazing. She went straight to bed had no messes except small excitement sprinkles, and she was so happy to see Marissa and I in the morning. She can even sit, lay down, and she walks to the door when she needs to potty.

We could have not got a better dog. I am posting pictures now and let us know what you think...

Ok, so today was a great day with Marissa.



I still cannot believe how big she is getting and how much I can love her more and more everyday.



She made me so proud today sitting up like a big girl for like 5-10 minutes to play with her toys, and again she scooted forward a couple times...all on her OWN.



Then to make my day great I joined an online group called Mommies Obsession and they are a site for moms for fun, talking, advise, and so much more and I asked them to make me a signature for Marissa...and here it is...this meant so much to me and I started to cry as soon as I recieved it and I am sure you will as well.
