So today, our little princess, Marissa Anne turned 1...can you believe it. I cannot believe that she has already been in our lives for a whole twelve months. It just seems like she was born yesterday.
She has done so much in the past 12 months and she is growing into a sweet toddler already. She is completely off formula for the past month now, eating some baby food, mostly real "adult" food, drinking juice, laughing, saying "dadada," crawling and soon she will be starting whole MILK.
This past year has gone by so fast, and I am sad that her daddy has missed half of it...but you know what...he will be home soon, and we can make new memories.
So as most of you may know, today was her birthday and her party. It was a GREAT success...everyone that was supposed to come, came. She got a ton of presents ranging from clothes, bath toys, learning blocks, a playtime talk tea set, 2 babydolls, gift cards, money, and evem 3 savings bonds....YAY. Her daddy even called and sang "Happy Birthday" to her with everyone, and then she went to town on her own personal cake.
